Our team would like to acknowledge a few of our drivers who have demonstrated exceptional levels of dedication, positivity, professionalism, and hard work. These drivers have been chosen for their remarkable contributions and commitment to excellence.

“Bobby and Rhonda Miller have been an Owner Operator Team with us for 7 years. They are flexible with planning and will go anywhere we send them. They have excellent communication and are on top of ETA’s, paperwork, and load updates. Bobby has made minor trailer repairs to save on downtime and repair costs which is much appreciated. Rhonda has a positive attitude in all she does. When sending updates, she often includes a picture or a meme with a positive uplifting message to brighten my day.”

“Darrell runs a great business as an owner-operator and is really easy to work with. I don’t have to worry about much in his hands. Safety is also his top priority. Also, while I’ve only been at Marvin Keller for a few months now, I feel like I’ve known Darrell for much longer. It’s cool to be able to have deeper-level conversations about the bible every once in a while at work, as we also try to do the best job we can. It’s nice to be blessed with a coworker that’s on the same obscure wavelength as you and interested in learning about similar things. Thanks for all you do Darrell!”

Merk started with us early this year, and from the day she started she has been amazing. Merk puts in 100% every day and always goes above and beyond. She is always good with communication on any issues and she does a lot for us with trailer inspections, repairs, and washouts. She is a huge asset to the MK team and on top of being a great employee, she is all around a great person! A true honor to work with someone like Merk!

Every week, each of our driver managers takes a moment to acknowledge one of their drivers for their outstanding performance. We want to give a special thank you to the following drivers for their exceptional work, which serves as a great example of what it means to be an MK Driver.

Travis Bartels – While he was waiting to get a tire repaired, he moved several trailers that were finished at Fleetmaster’s in Effingham over to the drop lot.  Thanks for knowing what we needed without even being asked to do it!

Randy Murphy – Recovered a load for us that another driver had fallen off and helped us make on-time delivery.  Thanks for being so flexible!  

James Rheinecker – We had a rejected trailer at the GP Mill in Augusta, GA and Jim was able to get the tandems to slide without having to call a repair truck to fix them. 

Jimmy Hendrix – Located a trailer for us that was in the wrong location at Stratas in Decatur and moved it to the correct spot.  Thanks for being someone we can count on!

Josh Voeks – Found a trailer at Clarksville, TN that had a lighting issue and got it moved over to the nearest Loves to get it taken care of so we didn’t have to call roadside for repair.  We appreciate it!

Kamenn Gittinger – Had a really long day this week with a difficult late-night delivery.  Thank you for keeping a good attitude through it!

Wes Thomas and Joseph Bass – Recovered a truck in OH for us this week. 

Rick Merrill and Paul Evans did a meet and greet to save a delivery on a load.  Thank you for helping us keep our customers happy!

Marc Bear – A fellow MK Driver was broke down on I-80 and Marc was able to get him unhooked from his trailer and then hooked to it safely so he could keep it moving.  Thank you for being so willing to help out.

Eric Loy, Tina Barlow, Terrance Parks, & Frank Rich have all worked extra days in the past few weeks to help us make on-time deliveries. We appreciate the extra work from all of you!

Tim Garrett – Helped a shipper fill out a handwritten BOL and they called us to compliment his kindness and willingness to help out. Thanks for impressing our Customers!

Anthony Gilio – Helped out a fellow driver who is new to the industry and gave him guidance backing into a tight spot. Thank you for setting such a great example for other drivers.

Orville Merrill – Had a tire replaced and the Halo system was not hooked up properly so he was able to get it into another Love’s and repaired for no additional charge. 

Dennis Anthony – went to get his truck started on his day off to avoid downtime at the start of his week.  Thanks for being so flexible!  

Aaron Stanley  – Recued a damaged trailer from a repair shop and brought it to our drop lot.  This saved us from having to pay storage charges at the repair show.  We appreciate it!

Allen Fitzgerald – stayed out for the weekend to return a refused shipment back to GA from Michigan.  Thank you for being so willing to help out.

Ed Hrezo, Chris Le, Blake Norman, Dan Schmitt, Gifford Libby, Jason Grigsby & Antonio Tucker have all worked extra days in the past few weeks to help us make on-time deliveries. We appreciate the extra work from all of you!

“Recently Dalton has transitioned to a home-daily position that required relocation. He has communicated perfectly through this process and kept us updated the whole way through. Dalton is very attentive to keeping us updated on any given situation or issue. For example, he was having an issue with a facility needing a different pick-up number. Dalton let us know immediately and then using his own problem-solving ability started to call the broker to resolve the issue. In the meantime, he was able to work with the facility to load him without the number and secure the load in the process. He is hardworking and an asset to our team”

“Frank has been a valuable part of this company for many years and he has passed many years of knowledge on to many rookie drivers and rookie driver managers. When I first started I relied on his knowledge on multiple occasions. He doesn’t take shortcuts and always does the right thing, even if it will lead to downtime. His dedication to safety is top notch and he sets the standard for maintaining equipment.”

“George started with Marvin Keller 6 years ago as an owner-operator doing a lease purchase on 1 truck. He currently has 3 trucks and 4 employees including himself and is continuing to grow his business. He always has a positive attitude regardless of the situation and is very appreciative and grateful for everything he has attained since working at Marvin Keller. At least once a year he will provide the office lunch to show his appreciation to all in here. Most weeks he will send an email of appreciation for the week he has had. His positive attitude and kind words are much appreciated and uplifting.”

Shoutout to Eli Greenwood. We had another driver, Randal Bayles, call in to compliment Eli’s Driving and how cautious he was being in a tricky area of our Effingham drop lot.  Thank you to both drivers for the compliment and for being a great driver. 

We would like to recognize Tim Garrett for taking a damaged trailer to a repair shop in FL and managing to get them to fix it at no cost to us.  Thank you for being so willing to help out.

Shout out to Arneld Theodore for helping us get an extra trailer removed from Charlotte, NC, and dropping it at Greensboro, NC at the end of his shift.  We appreciate it!
